Aldo Andres Marchant Music Department Aldo was born and raised in Santiago, Chile and began playing the guitar at the age of 13. By his 15th birthday, Aldo was immersed in a 6 hour per day schedule of constant practicing and studying. He studied jazz at the Ortega Music Academy and then moved to America to pursue his dream of music. After touring with various bands, Aldo is currently a member of the band Grindstone and you may have seen Aldo as he performs at various venue and events all over South Florida. He has recorded a CD of original music. Before teaching at Showtime, Aldo has been a guitar instructor at Nova Southeastern University and demonstrates a great level of professionalism and dedication.
