Rome Saladino:

Dance Department

Rome Saladino was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He trained at the New World School of the Arts and the Boston Ballet School in Dance and also attended the University of Florida’s School of Business. His love and passion for dance and performing led him to pursue a career on the stage. He became a professional ballet dancer and danced for 15 years. His ballet career took him to Teatro Colon in Bogota, Colombia and in Reykjavik, Iceland, as well as, most of the United States. He has had the privilege of working with many amazing people; Russian ballet teachers, including the most famous Mikhail Baryshnikov; Ann Reinking( Bob Fosse’s wife); Sonja Haney( Bob Fosse’s Assistant), to name a few. Throughout his ballet career he also performed in many musicals. He starred as a Sword Dancer in Brigadoon, a Bottle and Russian Dancer in Fiddler on the Roof, a Player in Pippin, Caleb in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Anxious in West Side Story. Loving travel and new experiences he joined the American Broadway Music Theatre in Tokyo Disney, where he was the Male Adagio Dancer in Encore! After his experience in Tokyo, he performed as an Adagio dancer for three years on cruise ships all over the world. His energy and excitement onstage comes from his desire to entertain.
