Sara Perry
Born and raised in South Florida, Sara has been performing in Broadway and Regional theatre productions and touring companies since the age of six. She began her training in local children’s theatre with dance and vocal coaching and later majored in theatre at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. Sara then earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami Conservatory Program, thereafter attending Nova Southeastern University for her MS in Education, ESE. Sara is certified by the State of Florida to Teach Drama 6-12, Music K-12, Dance 6-12 and ESE K-12. Her love for young children led her to the position of K-1 teacher for Autistic students in Dade County, Florida where she was responsible for training the music faculty in techniques for teaching music education to the Autistic student. Traveling with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as the lead vocalist in their main stage productions, Sara has toured Europe as a member of the Wave Revue Cast. Sara also performed in the Broadway national tours of Grease as Patty Simcox, Crazy for You as Patsy, and in 42nd Street as Anytime Annie. Most recently, Sara held the position of Director of Performing Arts at a prestigious private school in Miami where she directed, choreographed, produced and designed set, costumes, props and lighting for original, full-length musical productions.
